- 2 1/2 cups Masa/Tuwon shinkafa rice

- 1 1/2 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup cooked masa rice
- Onions

- Wash and then soak the masa rice over night or few hours before blending/grinding, next morning wash again once or more.
- Then cooked 1/2 cup masa rice, then add the cooked rice to the soaked rice after draining the water then slice an average onion and blend/grind. The batter shouldn’t be too thin.
- After grinding, add 1tablespoon of yeast, 1 1/2 tablespoon of flour mix till well incorporated then cover the mixture and leave to sit at room temperature for atleast 3hours.
- Then add salt, sugar to taste and can as well add diced onions then fry in a Masa pan.
- Eat masa with vegetable soup, pepper soup or honey. Enjoy
