- 3/4 cup Wheat Flour
- 1/4 cup Besan
- 5 tbsp Bajra Flour

- 1 tsp Ajwain
- as per taste Salt
- 3/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder

- 1 tsp Aamchur Powder or Dry Mango Powder
- 1 tsp Oil
- As needed Water
- As required Oil for roasting
Steps to make Kakdi Thalipeeth
- Take grated cucumber in a big plate. Add wheat flour, besan, bajra flour, green chillies, green coriander leaves, sesame seeds, ajwain, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dhania jeera powder, aamchur powder and oil. Mix everything well. Gradually add water to make very soft and smooth dough. Dough should be manageable, moist and very smooth.

- Heat tawa on low flame. Take a small portion of the prepared dough and keep on hot tawa. Immediately spread dough with fingers and flatten to make flatbread.


- Make holes with rolling pin on all over it. This helps in roasting thalipeeth well.
Sprinkle oil on all over it and roast on medium flame till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
- Serve hot Thalipeeth with a dollop of white butter and pickle.
